Dear Parents,~
This year for one of St Malachy’s service projects I would like to have my preschool classes participate in donating items for Operation Christmas Child Shoe box.   This is a program that will send every shoebox that is donated to over 100 countries to spread God’s word and give orphanage and at-risk areas a gift.  This will be a great opportunity to show children how to help other children in need and be giving during the holiday season.
Our classroom goal is to fill boxes for 6 different children. The boxes will be distributed to 3 lucky boys and 3 lucky girls with an age range of 2-8 years old.  If you would like to donate items, please send them to school and we will pack them in our shoeboxes and get them ready to mail.  In this we will have discussion on the importance of giving to others.
